Pera vs Officevibe (Workleap)

Officevibe is a full engagement platform. Pera is one anonymous weekly question by email. How they differ on features, anonymity and price for small UK teams.

In short
  • Officevibe, now part of Workleap, is a full engagement platform. It does far more than Pera.
  • Pera does one thing: a weekly anonymous question by email, with results once five people have answered.
  • Officevibe’s listed pricing starts at $4,999 USD a year plus a charge per manager. Pera is free for up to 15 people, then £1.50 per person a month (minimum £29).
  • If you want performance reviews, goals and detailed engagement scores, choose Officevibe. If you want to know how your team is doing each week, Pera is simpler and cheaper.

We checked everything we say about Officevibe on Workleap’s own website and help centre on 19 October 2026. Products and prices change, so check their site before you decide.

What Officevibe does

Officevibe is now part of Workleap’s wider platform. According to Workleap, it includes:

  • A pulse survey sent weekly, every two weeks or monthly, drawing on 122 questions that measure 10 engagement metrics. The first survey has 10 questions on a weekly or two-weekly schedule.
  • Custom surveys with templates, an AI survey builder, and onboarding and DEIB surveys.
  • Engagement scores, eNPS, trend reports and exports.
  • AI summaries, highlights and suggested actions for managers.
  • Anonymous feedback that managers can reply to, with an AI reply assistant.
  • "Good Vibes" recognition cards, one-to-one agendas, goals and performance reviews.
  • Delivery by email, SMS, Slack or Microsoft Teams, and over 100 integrations, including HR systems.

That is a lot of useful tooling, particularly for a company with HR staff and several layers of managers.

What Pera does

Pera asks one question each week: "How was work this week?" People choose Good, Okay or Not great, and can add a comment. It goes by email at the day and time you choose, with one reminder before the round closes. After a round, you write a short note on what you’re doing about it, and it appears in the next email under "From last time".

You can run several teams, each with its own check-in, people and results. You can’t change the question yet. There are no engagement scores, surveys, Slack or Teams integrations, or AI summaries. See the product page for the full picture.

How anonymity works in each

Both tools take anonymity seriously. The rules are different.

Officevibe shows scores only as aggregates, and only once at least three active members of a team have answered. Anonymous written answers are shown one by one without a name, once the team has at least five active members. Workleap counts members who haven’t answered recently towards that five. People can choose to reveal their name on a written answer. Feedback shows the week it was written, not the exact date. Executives can see written answers from the whole company, and team managers see those for their own teams.

Pera shows nothing until the round closes and at least five people have actually answered that round. Comments are shown in random order, and email addresses and phone numbers in them are removed automatically. Answer links are never stored, only a fingerprint of each one. When a round closes, the key that could connect links to people is deleted, so after that not even Pera can tell who said what. Answers keep the date, not the time, and we don’t track email opens or clicks. The detail is on our anonymity page.

In a team of five or six, that difference matters. Waiting for five real answers in a closed round makes it much harder to work out who said what.

What it is like to answer

In Officevibe, each employee gets a Workleap account when they are invited, and has to accept the invitation before they can answer surveys. Survey links expire after 14 days, after which people log in to answer.

In Pera, each person gets their own one-time link by email. There is no account, no password and nothing to install. That makes it easy for staff who don’t sit at a desk or rarely use work software.

Price

Workleap’s pricing page lists a Standard plan starting at $4,999 USD and a Pro plan starting at $11,999 USD, both billed annually, plus $32 per manager per month. Organisations with more than 250 employees get custom pricing. These are prices for the whole Workleap platform.

As an example, a 30-person company with three managers on the Standard plan would pay at least $4,999 plus $1,152 for the managers, so about $6,151 USD a year. On Pera’s Team plan, the same company pays £45 a month, or £540 a year, excluding VAT. Pera is free for up to 15 people and one team. See pricing.

Which to choose

Choose Officevibe if you want one platform for engagement surveys, performance reviews, goals and recognition, you need detailed scores and eNPS, your staff live in Slack or Teams, or you have HR people who will use the reports. It is the more complete product.

Choose Pera if you are a small or medium UK business and mainly want to know, every week, how your team is doing and whether something is going wrong. It asks staff one question a week, needs no accounts, and costs much less.

Questions

Is Officevibe the same as Workleap?

Officevibe is now part of Workleap. Workleap sells it as part of a wider platform that also covers performance reviews, goals, one-to-ones and recognition, and its help centre calls the product Workleap Officevibe.

How much does Officevibe cost?

On 19 October 2026, Workleap’s pricing page listed a Standard plan starting at $4,999 USD and a Pro plan starting at $11,999 USD, both billed annually, plus $32 per manager per month. Organisations with more than 250 employees get custom pricing.

Is Officevibe anonymous?

Scores are only shown as aggregates, once at least three active team members have answered. Anonymous written feedback is shown without a name when the team has at least five active members. Authors can choose to reveal their name.

What is a cheaper alternative to Officevibe for a small team?

If you mainly want to know how your team is doing each week and don’t need performance reviews, goals or a large survey library, a simpler tool can be enough. Pera is free for up to 15 people and one team, then £1.50 per person a month (minimum £29) excluding VAT.
