About Pera
Pera is a weekly anonymous check-in for teams, built in London for UK employers.
Why we built it
Most people won’t tell their manager they’re struggling, that a colleague is making work hard, or that a process is broken. Not because they don’t care, but because saying it costs them something and they can’t be sure anything will change.
Annual surveys don’t fix that. They come once a year, ask fifty questions, and the results arrive months later, long after anyone could act on them. Most small businesses don’t run one at all.
Pera asks one question a week, by email. People answer in a few seconds, without logging in. Their answers are kept apart from who they are, and you see the results when the round closes and enough people have answered for it to be safe. Then you tell them what you’re doing about it.
What we believe
- Anonymity has to be real. Not a promise in a privacy policy, but a design where we can’t tell who said what either. Here’s exactly how it works.
- Small and often beats big and rare. One question every week tells you more, sooner, than a long survey once a year.
- Listening only counts if you act. That’s why every round ends with a note to the team about what you’re changing.
- Simple is a feature. No dashboards to learn, no app to install. If it takes more than three minutes to set up, we’ve got it wrong.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell data, we don’t track who opens our emails, and we don’t show results for groups so small that someone could be identified. The website sets no cookies, and the app only uses the ones it needs to sign you in.
